Canadian Forest Hydrology Web Portal

Continued ...

One of the highlights of the website is the Research Sites webpage  Summary webpages of current and archived forest hydrology research have been created to compare research from across the country.  The Canadian Forest Hydrology website is a work in progress and will be developed in 2 phases.

Phase 1 is what you see now, as of February 2008.  Phase 2 will be completed by spring 2009.  This phase will include a searchable library, an online hydro-meteorological database of published research datasets, and a national hydrologic classification created by the HELP project.  The website is currently hosted at the Great Lakes Forestry Centre (GLFC), a regional lab of the Canadian Forest Service, Natural Resources Canada.

The site was developed by Chelene Krezek and Fred Beall (members of the HELP research team), with Andrij Obarymskyj as webmaster also from GLFC.  Additional support was received from GLFC Informatics and the rest of the HELP research team.
